Training Courses
Energy Supervisor Training
As well as holding a relevant qualification or an ECS Gold Card, an Energy Supervisor must also have completed a suitable Part L training course recognised by the ECA for the purposes of the scheme.
The course is currently programmed at the following venues:
- 30th January 2007 - Bury St Edmunds
- 15th February 2007 - Newbury
- 13th March 2007 - Bristol
- 15th March 2007 - Crawley, W Sussex
- 29th March 2007 - Penkridge, Staffs
- 17th April 2007 - Darlington
- 26th April 2007 - Uxbridge
- 5th June 2007 - Leeds
- 21st June 2007 - Newbury
- 27th June 2007 - London, W2
- 12th July 2007 - Lymm
Other courses may also be appropriate and meet the requirements of the scheme. As additional courses become available they will be assessed for their equivalence.
Please contact ECA Education and Training before taking a course other than the one listed above to ensure it will be recognised as acceptable.
General Awareness Training
The ECA is also offering a one-day course providing an understanding of the background, structure and objectives of Part L and how the amendments will affect work within dwellings and non-domestic buildings.
The course is programmed at the following venues:

- 22nd February 2007 - Crawley, W Sussex
- 27th February 2007 - Bristol
- 27th March 2007 - Uxbridge
- 30th March 2007 - Darlington
- 15th May 2007 - Leeds

- 7th June 2007 - Lymm, Cheshire
